FTP Profile editor

Album Web allows you to set up more than one FTP profile for different FTP servers. You can set a profile in the Publish wizard on the To Internet by FTP tab. This tab displays all profiles you have for different websites and allows you to add a new one with ease.

To set up a new FTP profile, click the New button. This will open the FTP location settings window.

Now you need to enter FTP settings, such as FTP site address, initial directory, username, password, HTTP address of FTP folder and user personal folder.

 

Order of input information for publishing:

 
a. In the field Ftp site address input ftp address of the your www-server (for example: ftp.mydomain.com)

b. In the field Initial directory input a path from your www-server root where album will be placed (for example: www or www/albums/first/)

c. In the fields User name and Password input account name and password for ftp access.

d. You may also input URL to browse uploaded album in the field Root URL for browse (for example: www.mydomain.com). In the field User personal directory input a www path to the gallery without server address (for example: /john/albums/)

After entering publishing information the full FTP and HTTP URLs will be:

 

FTP :        ftp://<Ftp site address>/<Initial directory>/

HTTP :        http://<Root URL for browse>/<User personal directory>/

 

FTP Url must exist but all inside folders will be created during publishing.

 
Now your profile is ready to publish your album.

 

When you finish, click Save or Save As and the new profile will appear in the list on the To Internet by FTP tab.

 

Now your profile is ready to publish your album. So you can select this profile and upload to the FTP server.
